THANK YOU
For the past five months we've been trying to figure out what the future of this band would be. And although we've tried to put it off as long as possible, it appears that our time together has sadly come to an end. Lately, due to our lives and schedules it's been nearly impossible for the four of us to play together. We decided to take some time away from the band so we could put our lives and priorities in perspective. The final decision made us realize that not all of us are in the same place right now. Stephan has decided to devote his time to graduate school and to pursuing a PhD. He doesn’t feel he will have the time to play in the band anymore. Since Penfold has always been the four of us, we don’t think it would make sense to continue on without Stephan so we’ve decided to stop performing as Penfold. The rest of us are working on a new project, so be on the lookout for that.
We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our families and friends for supporting us through all of this and coming to most if not all of our shows ,you know who you are. thank you to all the bands we've played with, befriended, toured with, etc. Thanks to all the dedicated people who have helped us with shows, let us sleep on their floor, borrow equipment etc. Thanks to all the people who have helped promote us, started message boards and websites in our names, and help to spread the word about us, your efforts are greatly appreciated.
